Overview
TestBounty ("we", "our", "us") operates a mobile application and accompanying web platform that connects mobile app developers with testers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights in relation to that information.
By using TestBounty — whether as a developer, tester, or visitor — you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.
This policy applies to the TestBounty mobile application, the web platform at testbounty.app, and all related services.

How we use your information
We use the information we collect to operate and improve the TestBounty platform. Specifically, this includes:
— Creating and managing your account
— Displaying campaign information to the appropriate parties
— Facilitating bug report submission and review
— Processing crypto deposits, payouts, and withdrawal requests
— Verifying withdrawal requests and preventing fraud
— Sending transactional notifications (report status, withdrawal status, account alerts)
— Responding to support requests and resolving disputes
— Analysing platform usage to fix bugs and improve features
We do not use your information to serve advertising, build advertising profiles, or sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for any purpose unrelated to operating the TestBounty platform.
04
What information is visible to whom
TestBounty shares the minimum information needed for each party to fulfil their role on the platform.
Developers can see: a tester's name, profile photo, rating, and tester level when the tester participates in their campaign. No other tester information — including email address or wallet address — is visible to developers.
Testers can see: a developer's name, company name, company or app logo, and the details of any campaign they are viewing or have joined. No other developer information — including email address — is visible to testers.
TestBounty administrators can see all of the above, in addition to user email addresses and wallet addresses. Administrator access is restricted to verified team members and is used solely for platform operations, withdrawal processing, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention.
No user's information is visible to unrelated third parties.
05
Payments and financial data
TestBounty processes payments exclusively in cryptocurrency (currently USDC and USDT). We do not collect or store traditional payment details such as bank account numbers or card numbers.
Developer deposits are held in a dedicated campaign escrow wallet for the duration of the campaign. Funds are released to testers upon report approval. Remaining balances are returnable to the developer upon campaign closure, subject to withdrawal approval.
Tester earnings accumulate in an in-app wallet and can be withdrawn to an external wallet, subject to the withdrawal rules described in our How It Works page.
All withdrawal requests — from both developers and testers — are reviewed and approved by a TestBounty administrator before processing. This step is in place to prevent fraudulent withdrawals and ensure the integrity of the payment system.
Financial transaction records are retained for a minimum of five years to comply with applicable financial record-keeping requirements.
06
Third-party sharing
We do not sell user data. We do not share user data with advertisers or data brokers.
We may share limited data with third-party service providers who assist in operating the platform — for example, cloud hosting providers, error monitoring tools, and email delivery services. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to handle data securely and only for the purposes we specify.
We may disclose information if required by law, a court order, or a valid government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights or safety of our users, the public, or TestBounty.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of TestBounty's assets, user data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to equivalent privacy protections.
07
Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer (for example, financial records).
Bug reports, campaign data, and transaction records may be retained in anonymised or aggregated form after account deletion for platform improvement purposes.
Wallet addresses associated with completed transactions are retained for at least five years for financial compliance purposes.
08
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. These include encrypted data storage, encrypted data transmission over HTTPS, access controls on internal systems, and regular security reviews.
No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted over the internet. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at testbountyapp@gmail.com.
09
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
— Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
— Request correction of inaccurate data
— Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements
— Object to or restrict certain processing activities
— Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at testbountyapp@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request.
10
Children
TestBounty is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will delete the account and associated data promptly. If you believe a child has registered on the platform, contact us at testbountyapp@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide additional notice in-app or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
